forage sorghums, Summer select

94 MS Forage Sorghum

94 MS is an economical one cut forage option that produces large amounts of high energy forage. This male sterile forage sorghum will outperform the competition in yield and disease resistance while providing great seedling vigor. It is not uncommon to see sugar levels of the 94 MS forage above 15%.

- Wide adaptation: can be used in many soil types and production environments
- Male sterile: will not produce its own pollen
- Approximately 94 days from emergence to harvest
- Good disease resistance
- Earlier maturity and disease resistance combination allow this hybrid to be used across the US (north to south)
- Very fast-seeding vigor

95 BMR Forage Sorghum

95 BMR forage sorghum is the ideal choice for the dairy or feedlot producer looking for a product that can deliver superior silage qualities using a one cut system. In a short period of time, this BMR 6 hybrid will consistently produce top yields of high quality forage with tremendous grain production; all while, when planted at lower poulations, the dwarfing gene assists with the standability, making this hybrid a favorite. The high sugar levels in the stems combined with the lower lignin concentrations of the BMR 6 gene lead to enhanced digestibility and animal intake.

- BMR 6 gene: low lignin technology for improved digestibility and feeding efficiency
- Wide adaptation: can be used in may soil types and production environments
- Multi-leaf hybrid with up to 20 leaves per plant • 90 to 95 days from emergence to soft dough (harvest)
- High Disease Resistance
- Earlier maturity and disease resistance combination allow this hybrid to be used across the USA (North to South)

96 BMR MS Forage Sorghum

When looking for a one cut system that offers a very high energy forage, consider 96 BMR MS. This hybrid has two favorable quality traits as it both a bmr and a male sterile hybrid. Without another pollen source, 96 BMR MS offers the producer, looking for high nutritional forage, a high energy forage source without the starch.

- BMR 6 gene: low lignin technology for improved digestability and feeding efficiency
- Wide adaptation: can be used in many soil types and production environments
- Male sterile: will not produce its own pollen
- Approximately 96 days from emergence to harvest
- Good disease resistance
- Earlier maturity and disease resistance combination allow this hybrid to be used across the US (north to south)
